Curled cress is an early-maturing and high-yield variety of leaf lettuce that grows quickly and reaches full marketability just 15‑17 days after germination. Technical maturity occurs in about 30 days, making it suitable for year-round cultivation in both open and closed ground.

Curlled leaves are large, elongated-oval in shape, light green, and reach up to 10 cm in height. They possess a sharp mustard flavor that adds a bright aroma and richness to dishes. Due to its high yield – from 1.5 to 1.7 kg per square meter – this variety is particularly valuable for farmers and gardeners aiming to achieve maximum results in minimal time.

Cress contains a large amount of mineral salts, iodine, and B group vitamins, as well as vitamins C and P. This makes it an excellent addition to salads, side dishes, and soups, providing not only taste but also health benefits. For cultivation, a sunny plot with fertile, loose soil of neutral acidity is recommended; the optimal sprouting temperature is from +15 to +22 °C. Fresh consumption allows for maximum retention of nutrients and aromatic qualities of the product.
