Watercress "Mother-in-Law's Secret" is a mid-early, cold-hardy variety that quickly yields harvest: from germination to market readiness it takes only 22-32 days. The plant forms a large rosette of leaves 20-25 cm high, with the mass of one plant reaching 20-25 g.
The leaves are of medium size (10-12 cm), dissected, tender and juicy, with a characteristic pleasant mustard taste. Thanks to this texture, they are perfect for fresh salads as well as a garnish for meat and fish dishes.
Mother-in-Law's Secret is distinguished by high yield - 1.8-2.2 kg/m², as well as a rich nutritional composition: contains vitamin C, potassium, calcium, iron, rutin, carotene, B vitamins and glycoside gluco-trapeolin. This makes it a valuable addition to the diet as a source of micronutrients and antioxidants.
The variety is easy to grow at home: suitable for year-round cultivation in open ground, as well as as a pot culture on the windowsill. Thanks to the moderate height of the bush (up to 25 cm), it does not take up much space and is ready to eat quickly after planting.
