Dill variety Arballet is an early-maturing variety with a beautiful raised leaf rosette ranging from 20 to 25 cm in height. The leaves are large, strongly dissected, and bright green, possessing a strong aroma. Leaf petioles are sturdy and vertically positioned, preventing the plant from lodging. The rosette is compact, containing 9-10 leaves, with a diameter reaching 24 cm. The stem is of medium length and large diameter, without waxy coating or with weak intensity of such. The central umbel is convex, with a diameter up to 15 cm, and has up to 30-35 rays of the first order. The Arballet variety is suitable for growing both in open ground and under protected conditions, including greenhouse complexes and hydroponic installations. It is characterized by high marketable yield of greens — from 1.6 to 1.8 kg per square meter. The mass of one plant at harvest for greens is 35-40 g, and for use as spices — 60-65 g. Dill is resistant to root rot and lodging, making it a reliable choice for large-scale industrial cultivation. Arballet is intended for use fresh and in cooking, thanks to its strong aroma and attractive appearance. Its large, strongly dissected leaves without waxy coating are ideal for salad lines and other gastronomic purposes. The sturdy leaf structure and compact rosette provide ease in harvesting and processing greens, which is especially important for professional farms and greenhouse complexes.
