ARGAMAK is a systemic herbicide designed to protect cereal crops, such as wheat, barley, and oats, from a wide range of broadleaf weeds. It is effective against more than 100 weed species, including crucifers, asteraceae, and annual broadleaf weeds resistant to 2,4-D and 2M-4X, as well as common thistle. The agent is selective to crops and does not harm wheat and barley until the flag leaf appears, allowing its use in early stages of plant development. The active ingredient of the herbicide is tribenuron-methyl at a concentration of 750 g/kg, which is absorbed through the leaves, stems, and roots of weeds and moves to growth points. The mechanism of action is based on blocking the enzyme acetolactate synthase, which leads to the cessation of cell division and the death of weeds. The agent is applied at a rate of 15-20 g/ha during the tillering-stem elongation phase of winter and spring crops, and the dosage is increased to 20-25 g/ha in the presence of common thistle. ARGAMAK is released in the form of water-dispersible granules packed in 500 g bottles. It can be used in tank mixes with preparations based on 2,4-D, dicamba, and ethylcarfentrazone, which expands the spectrum of action and increases the effectiveness of protection. The herbicide does not pose a danger to subsequent crops in crop rotation, which makes it a convenient and safe means for comprehensive protection of cereal crops. It is recommended to store the agent at a temperature from -20°C to +30°C, the shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
