SOCKOLIK

The SOCKOLIK cucumber variety is mid-early maturing, ripening in 56-65 days. The plant is determinate, medium-height, with a cluster-type flowering, ensuring the formation of 1-3 fruits in leaf axils. The fruits have a cylindrical shape, 8-10 cm long, ribbed, green to dark green in color, decorated with short stripes and weakly expressed mottling. Fruit weight is 90-120 g, characterized by crisp and firm texture, as well as very aromatic flavor without bitterness.

SOCKOLIK is versatile in use: its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption in salads, as well as for pickling, salting, and marinating. The variety has high market yield, reaching 384-755 c/ha, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. Moreover, the cucumber tolerates transportation and storage well, maintaining its quality for a long time.

Special attention has been paid to the variety’s resistance to adverse conditions and diseases. SOCKOLIK shows high resistance to powdery mildew and false powdery mildew, as well as cold and drought tolerance.
