Technical Fruit Specifications

The agronomic profile of "Slobozhanskyi F1" is calibrated for commercial production:

• Biometry: Fruits ranging from 10 to 12 cm in length with an average weight of 100 grams are perfectly sized for standard market packaging and logistics.
• Surface Morphology: The prominent large-tuberous structure provides a premium market appearance and indicates a firm pulp that resists softening during transport.
• Color: A deep, dark-green pigment ensures the fruits remain visually appealing even under direct sunlight exposure.

Agronomic Protection and Cultivation

A key advantage of this hybrid is its robust genetic resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora), which is the primary yield-limiting factor in open-field cultivation. Additionally, the plant exhibits resistance to powdery mildew, allowing for a reduction in pesticide application during the fruiting phase, which begins 55–60 days after emergence. As a bee-pollinated hybrid, it relies on natural pollinators to ensure maximum fruit set, which significantly contributes to the high quality and crisp texture of the harvest.
