ANDREYSHA

The cucumber variety ANDREYSHA is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with a female flowering type, which begins fruiting 40-45 days after germination. The plant is medium-height, with weak lateral branching, which simplifies care and shaping the bush. The fruits are short, 6-8 cm long, with small bumps and a vibrant green color. They are free of bitterness and have excellent taste, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, marinating, and making gherkins.

ANDREYSHA is ideal for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground. For seedling production, seeds are sown at a depth of 1.5-2 cm at a temperature of about 25°C, and after germination, the temperature is reduced to 15°C. Transplanting seedlings into the ground is recommended only after the soil has warmed to 9-13°C and there are no night frosts. When sowing seeds directly into the ground, the planting depth increases to 2-3 cm. During the vegetative period, it is recommended to use covering materials such as plastic film or agrofiber to protect the seedlings.

During the vegetative period, up to three feedings are recommended to achieve a high yield, using appropriate fertilizers. The variety has high regenerative ability, easily recovers after diseases, and continues fruiting until frost. Additionally, ANDREYSHA is tolerant to downy mildew, which increases the plant’s resistance to fungal diseases and reduces the need for frequent application of protective agents.
