This medium-early hybrid features a cream-colored kernel type and erect leaf arrangement, which enhances photosynthetic efficiency and promotes rapid plant establishment. Thanks to its high adaptability, SY Rotango is well-suited for cultivation in the Northern Forest-Steppe and Polissia regions, demonstrating stable performance even under variable moisture conditions.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases, including root and stalk rot, as well as gray leaf spot. Additionally, SY Rotango shows enhanced cold tolerance, enabling successful cultivation in cooler climatic zones. Plants respond well to high agronomic inputs, which helps maximize yield potential.
Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions and region: in Polissia, optimal density reaches up to 90,000 plants per hectare, in the Forest-Steppe — 60-80,000. Under insufficient moisture, density should be reduced to 45-55,000 plants per hectare. Seeds are supplied in packages of 80,000 units, which is convenient for planning planting operations and achieving early harvests of high-quality grain and nutritious silage for livestock feeding.
