Dneprovsky 925

Corn Dneprovsky 925 is a simple modified hybrid developed by the Institute of Steppe Agriculture of NAAN Ukraine. This mid-season hybrid with FAO 290 features a strong root system and high resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. Plants reach a height of 200-250 cm, with ears 20-22 cm long and attachment height of 80-90 cm. Grain is toothed, yellow-orange, with a 1000-grain weight of approximately 280-300 g, contributing to high product quality.

Hybrid Dneprovsky 925 exhibits high drought tolerance and resistance to major diseases, including rust and stalk rot, as well as pests. It adapts well to dense planting and shows excellent response to mineral fertilizer application and improved agrofond. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation in all natural zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and forested areas.

The grain yield of the hybrid is 120-125 ц/га, and silage mass is 580-630 ц/га, making it a high-tech and competitive option for agricultural producers. The recommended productive stem density varies by region: 45-55 thousand plants per hectare in the steppe, and 70-90 thousand in forest-steppe and forested areas. Rapid grain drying during ripening facilitates harvest and improves grain quality.
