Maize Martinique

The Martinique corn hybrid is a simple mid-season grain-type hybrid with FAO maturity group 330. It is characterized by high yield and efficient water use, making it particularly valuable for cultivation in the Forest Steppe and Northern Steppe regions of Ukraine. The plant is medium-height with optimal ear attachment, and the kernels are dent-shaped, contributing to good harvest quality. The hybrid is recommended for optimal planting dates and minimal soil tillage, and is suitable for monoculture cultivation, although not recommended for late harvesting.

Martinique exhibits high drought resistance, ensuring stable yields under adverse weather conditions. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high resistance to common corn diseases, including stalk and root rot, as well as common smut. It is also resistant to major pests and lodging, reducing the risk of losses and improving grain quality.

Martinique hybrid seeds have high quality indicators: germination energy is 97%, uniformity is 98%, and seed moisture is 14.2%. The F1 category planting material is grown in the Poltava region and prepared for sowing, packed in bags of various fractions and weights, ensuring ease of use and optimal conditions for successful cultivation.
