SY TELIAS

The SY TELIAS corn hybrid is an early-maturing variety recommended for cultivation in all climatic zones of Ukraine. It is intended for grain, silage, and meal production, distinguished by high and stable yields, as well as rapid early vegetative growth, making it suitable for spring reseeding of winter crops. The hybrid features an erect leaf arrangement, which enhances photosynthetic efficiency and improves plant productivity. Starch content in the grain is approximately 72.4–76%, and protein content is 8.8–9.7%, ensuring high-quality harvest.

SY TELIAS exhibits high resistance to various stress factors and diseases. It demonstrates excellent drought and cold tolerance, confirmed by ratings of 9–10 points. The hybrid is also resistant to lodging and tolerant to diseases such as ear fusarium, helminthosporium, stalk rot, and downy and powdery mildew. These qualities make it a reliable choice for cultivation under variable climate and adverse weather conditions.

The SY TELIAS cultivation technology can be conventional, minimal, or zero-till, allowing adaptation of agronomy to specific farm conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture availability and cultivation purpose: for grain under adequate moisture — 80–90 thousand plants per hectare, under limited moisture — 60–65 thousand; for silage — 88–99 thousand and 66–72 thousand respectively. This approach ensures optimal resource use and maximum yield.
