Sobor MS

The seeds of the hybrid corn variety Sобор MS are a modified mid-early hybrid with FAO 290, intended for cultivation as both grain and silage. Plants reach a height of approximately 220 cm, with ears attached at a height of about 90-110 cm. The ear has a cylindrical or conical shape, with 12-16 rows of yellow dent kernels. The thousand-kernel weight varies from 220 to 280 grams, and the grain yield is 82-85%. The hybrid exhibits high grain drying intensity after maturity, reducing drying costs and accelerating harvest.

Sобор MS demonstrates high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, particularly well-suited for cultivation in the Northern Steppe of Ukraine. The hybrid shows drought and cold resistance rated 8 out of 9, as well as resistance to major corn diseases such as blister and smut, and pests including corn borer. The leaves have a semi-erect orientation, and the stalk features weak anthocyanin pigmentation.

This corn hybrid is highly versatile, enabling farmers to achieve stable and high yields of up to 14 tons per hectare. Strong ear attachment and flexible stalks ensure reliable harvest formation.
