Kine尔斯кая 2010 is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of medium maturity with a vegetative period of 76-82 days, ripening 2-3 days earlier than the standard Kine尔斯кая нива. The plant is medium-height, with a semi-upright stem and a strong hollow straw about 74 cm long. The spike is pyramidal, of medium length and density, with white color and spreading awns. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 34 to 40 g, the grain is dark red, semi-round in shape with a shallow groove. The variety is characterized by high drought and heat tolerance, which is confirmed by stable productivity under arid climate conditions of the Middle Volga region and the southern zone of Samara region.
The yield of the Kine尔斯кая 2010 variety is high and stable: average yield in the Middle Volga region is 21.9 c/ha, with an increase over the standard Kine尔斯кая нива in the southern zone of Samara region by 1.3 c/ha at a yield of 11.4 c/ha. The maximum yield achieved under more favorable conditions of the Republic of Tatarstan was 51.0 c/ha, and the potential of the variety with improved moisture and mineral nutrition reaches 5-6 t/ha. The variety is resistant to lodging, shattering, and grain germination on the stalk during overstay, and is easily threshed.
Kine尔斯кая 2010 has high baking qualities corresponding to the level of a good filler. The grain is characterized by increased protein content (on average 17-18.9 %) and gluten (36-44.5 %), the gluten deformation index reaches 90-94 units on the IDK scale. Grain nativity reaches 830 g/l, total vitreousness - 90%. The variety forms food grain of classes 1-3. It is distinguished by high resistance to brown rust, tolerance to powdery mildew and root rots, and resistance to powdery and hard bunt, which makes it a reliable choice for cultivation in arid and hot conditions.
