Odeskyi 375 MV — this is an early-maturing corn hybrid with FAO 300, developed at the Institute of Plant Biology 'Porumbyn' in Moldova. It is characterized by a vegetation period of 90-95 days in southern Ukraine conditions and is adapted to various climatic zones of the country. The plant reaches a height of 220 to 250 cm and forms 16 to 18 leaves. The ear has a weak-conical shape up to 23 cm long, with a red interior and up to 18 rows of kernels. The kernels are yellow, with a dent shape, and the 1000-kernel weight reaches 300 grams. The hybrid is distinguished by high and stable yield, which under favorable conditions and adequate moisture levels can reach 12 to 17 tons per hectare. Odeskyi 375 MV is suitable for grain, silage, or grain-silage mixture cultivation. A distinctive feature of this variety is poor water retention after maturity, which is typical for dent corn. To achieve maximum productivity, mineral fertilizers are recommended. The plant exhibits high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as strong stalks, ensuring resistance to lodging and breakage. Odeskyi 375 MV is successfully grown in various regions of Ukraine due to its adaptability and stable yield. The hybrid's initial development energy is moderately sufficient, allowing it to adapt and grow well under various conditions. This hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable corn yields with good agronomic characteristics.
