Horol SV

Corn Horol SV — a high-yielding hybrid with FAO 270, designed for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. The vegetation period of this hybrid ranges from 113 to 121 days depending on the region, allowing it to successfully adapt to local conditions. Plants reach a height of 220–250 cm, with ear attachment height of 80–90 cm. Grain is dent-type, with 1000-grain weight varying from 270 to 290 grams, indicating high harvest quality. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 15–17 tons per hectare, confirmed by state trials where yields exceeded 10 tons per hectare. Hybrid Horol SV exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases such as common smut, southern rust, gray leaf spot, and corn borer.
