Maize Camaro

Working with genetics from Nordic Seed A/S is always about reliability. The Camaro hybrid is a solid performer in the field, designed for those who prioritize stability over risky experiments. During a 120-140 day growing season, this hybrid proves its worth, handling environmental stresses effectively and maintaining healthy growth cycles.

Field performance and resilience

Fusarium is the nightmare of every corn grower, but Camaro shows impressive resilience against it. Combined with its resistance to the European corn borer, it reduces the need for constant chemical intervention. For an operator, this means less time in the sprayer and lower input costs per hectare. It establishes well and keeps uniform growth throughout the season.

Key characteristics for the farm:

• Hybrid type: simple cross, ensuring uniform maturity and harvest.
• Grain type: flint-dent mix, providing the perfect balance between fast dry-down and high kernel density.
• Application: a truly dual-purpose hybrid, delivering great results whether you are harvesting grain or high-quality silage.

With a maturity rating of FAO 90–1240, Camaro fits perfectly into various cropping systems. During harvest, the machine works efficiently, and the yield results are consistent. If you are looking for a reliable, low-maintenance, and high-yielding solution for your silage or grain production, this Danish hybrid stands out as a pragmatic choice for any professional farmer.
