Maize BelyCorn 260 MV

Proven Ukrainian Genetics for Reliable Yields

BelKorn 260 MV represents the expertise of the V. Ya. Yuriev Institute of Plant Production NAAS. As a three-line hybrid with an FAO rating of 260, it has become a staple for Ukrainian farmers seeking a balance between consistent grain quality and high-value silage production. The hybrid's market reputation is built upon its ability to perform reliably across varied regional conditions.

Performance and Resistance Profile

The core value of BelKorn 260 MV lies in its genetic resistance to common agricultural pathogens. It demonstrates notable tolerance to head smut, stalk rot, and boil smut, which are essential for maintaining field productivity. Furthermore, the hybrid shows resilience against the European corn borer, reducing the need for intensive chemical interventions during the growing season.

• Grain Composition: 75% starch content, making it an excellent candidate for both feed and industrial processing.
• Maturity: The 110–120 day cycle allows for efficient harvest planning and optimal moisture dry-down.
• Kernel Type: Flint-dent structure, which bridges the gap between early vigor and high final yield potential.

Designed for both grain and silage, this hybrid is a strategic asset for operations looking to mitigate risks associated with systemic corn diseases. With proper agricultural management, BelKorn 260 MV serves as a prime example of effective domestic breeding, providing stability and quality in every harvest.
