Corn Belygorie S is an early-maturing sweet variety characterized by high yield and rapid maturation. The vegetation period is approximately 80-90 days from emergence to harvest. Plants reach heights of 145 to 190 cm, depending on growing conditions. Ears are cylindrical or slightly conical, 18-20 cm long, weighing 140 to 200 g. Kernels are bright yellow, large, juicy, and sweet with a thin husk, ensuring excellent taste qualities both fresh and when boiled, canned, or frozen. The Belygorie S variety is resistant to common diseases and pests, making it adaptable and suitable for cultivation in both private gardens and on an industrial scale. It is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, including southern regions of Russia, Volga region, Middle belt, Moscow region, and Central Chernozem region. Corn has good transportability and is suitable for long-term storage, expanding its usage and marketing potential. For successful cultivation, seed sowing should be done in soil heated to 10-12°C, with seed depth of 3-5 cm. The optimal planting scheme involves 30-40 cm spacing between plants in rows and 60-70 cm between rows. In the middle belt, it is preferable to grow through seedlings, sown at the end of April and transplanted into open ground at the end of May to early June after frost threat. Crop care includes regular hoeing, weeding, watering, and fertilization, as corn is sensitive to moisture and nutrients. Prefers light, fertile, well-aerated, and moist soils.
