Carrot SWEET POMPANDER

The carrot variety "Sweet Pomander" is a late-maturing hybrid intended for long-term storage. The roots are harvested 130-140 days after seedling emergence, allowing for a high-quality yield. They feature a smooth, large, and even surface, cylindrical shape with a blunt tip, characteristic of the Nantes type. The root length ranges from 18 to 25 cm, while the weight varies from 100 to 250 grams. A rich red-orange color and high density make the carrots attractive and suitable for storage. The flesh is very sweet, crisp, and juicy, ensuring a pleasant taste and high nutritional value. Due to its high carotene content, this variety is a valuable source of vitamins and antioxidants. Under proper storage conditions, the roots retain their taste and freshness until spring, making "Sweet Pomander" an excellent choice for long-term consumption. The hybrid boasts high yields, reaching up to 8 kg per square meter, which is advantageous for both commercial farming and personal gardens. The carrots are resistant to diseases such as black spot, cercosporosis, and black leg, reducing the risk of yield loss and the need for frequent application of protective treatments. All these qualities make the variety "Sweet Pomander" a reliable and delicious option for growing and storage.
