Cabbage Corato

Broccoli Corato F1 is a medium-early hybrid developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. This variety features a strong root system and high adaptability to various growing conditions, including open and protected ground. Corato F1 tolerates heat well provided regular and timely watering, making it a reliable choice for summer-autumn cultivation. The plant forms a dense, dark green rosette and has compact dimensions, simplifying care and harvest. Corato broccoli heads have a dome-shaped form, weighing between 350 and 660 grams, with tightly packed medium-grained inflorescences of vibrant green color. They possess a delicate flavor and retain their market appearance and quality in the field for an extended period without losing flavor or visual characteristics. Additionally, the variety is resistant to stem hollowing, enhancing its quality and market appeal for fresh produce, as well as for processing and freezing. Corato F1 demonstrates high productivity and the ability to form lateral shoots up to the main head cut, increasing overall yield. To boost yield, fertilization is recommended during seedling growth and inflorescence formation periods. Optimal planting density is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare. Due to its characteristics and resilience, this hybrid is an excellent choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable broccoli yields.
