DAR PODMOSKOVYE

The 'DAR PODMOSKOVYE' carrot is a mid-season, high-yield variety with a vegetative period of 70 to 100 days. The root crops have an elongated-conical or cylindrical shape with a blunt base and a length of 15-18 cm. Their weight varies from 100 to 180 grams, and the surface is smooth and orange. The core is round, not very large, sometimes irregular in shape, and the flesh is juicy and aromatic, ensuring good and excellent taste qualities.

This variety is distinguished by its universal purpose: it is suitable for fresh consumption, canning, freezing, and winter storage. Due to the high shelf life and dense structure of the root crops, 'DAR PODMOSKOVYE' carrot is considered one of the best varieties for long-term storage. Carotene content in the flesh is 10-12 mg, which makes this product especially valuable in terms of vitamins and beneficial substances.

The leaf rosette of this variety is upright, with green finely dissected leaves of medium length. Technical maturity of root crops occurs on the 90-95 day after mass germination. To improve germination, sowing under winter with cover with film until seedlings appear is recommended. The variety has medium resistance to diseases and good resistance to bolting, which contributes to a stable yield.
