FLACKE AGRONI

Flacke Agroni is a late-maturing carrot variety of French origin, characterized by a long maturation period of about 140-160 days. The root crops reach a length of 24-28 cm and a weight of 180-230 grams, having a cylindrical or conical shape with a blunt tip and a red-orange color. The carrot flesh is juicy, tender, with a pleasant slightly sweet taste, not prone to nitrate accumulation, which makes this variety especially beneficial and safe for health. High resistance to cracking and diseases contributes to obtaining uniform and quality fruits.

For growing Flacke Agroni, it is recommended to use light, well-loosened sandy loam or clay loam soils, preferably open and well-lit areas. Seeding can be carried out either in spring after soil warming or in autumn in October - early November. An important stage of agrotechnology is thinning seedlings and regular watering, which contributes to the formation of uniform root crops without breaks and cracks. Good precursors for this variety are considered to be tomatoes, cabbage, and cucumbers.

Flacke carrots are universal in application: they are excellent for fresh consumption, canning, stewing, pickling, and processing into juice. Due to high storability and good transportability, the root crops retain their market quality for a long time, without losing taste properties. The yield of the variety varies from 4 to 9 kilograms per square meter, which corresponds to approximately 80 tons per hectare, which makes Flacke Agroni an attractive choice for farmers and gardeners.
