MARMELEADKA

The "Marmedeadka" carrot variety is a high-yielding mid-season variety with a maturity period of 100 to 120 days. The root crops have a cylindrical shape with a blunt tip, 18-20 cm long, uniform and beautiful. The flesh is bright orange, juicy, tender, and very sweet, with a small core. Due to the high content of sugars and carotene, this variety is especially valued for its excellent taste qualities and beneficial properties, making it one of the best options for children's and dietary food.

The "Marmedeadka" variety is excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for making juices and purees. It retains its taste qualities during storage, which allows it to be used for various culinary purposes, including canning and freezing. High yield stability and uniformity of root crops make this variety attractive for growing both in private households and for commercial purposes.

For successful cultivation of "Marmedeadka" carrots, it is recommended to sow seeds at the end of April at a depth of 1-1.5 cm in light loamy soils. After seedlings appear, two thinning operations are carried out: the first after two weeks, the second when the root crops reach a diameter of about 1 cm, leaving 5-6 cm between plants. Further care involves weeding, loosening, and watering. Winter sowing is also possible at temperatures around -5 °C, with surface mulching with peat to protect the seeds.
