RED CARAMEL

Red Caramel — a mid-season Nantes-type carrot variety with a maturity period of 100-115 days. The roots of this variety have a rich orange color and a length of 14 to 20 cm, with each root weighing 100-150 g. A feature of the variety is a small core and an excellent juicy internal structure, which ensures a pleasant taste and high product quality. Plants possess powerful growth force, which contributes to good yield.

The variety is versatile in use: carrots are suitable both for fresh consumption and for culinary processing and processing. Due to good storage, roots are well preserved during the winter period, which makes the variety convenient for long-term storage. The variety yield is from 2.7 to 5.7 kg per square meter, which allows obtaining a stable and abundant yield.

Sowing of Caramel Red carrots is recommended to be carried out in April-May with a distance between rows of 15 cm and between plants of 5-7 cm. Harvest is usually in August. Such a planting and care regime provides optimal conditions for plant development and obtaining quality roots.
