Carrot Favorit

Carrot variety Favorit is a late Nantes-type variety with a vegetation period of 140-150 days. The root is cylindrical, 16-18 cm long, with a rich orange-red color. It is straight, smooth, with a blunt tip and a dense core, and the top does not turn green. The flesh is tender and juicy, making it attractive for fresh consumption and canning.

The Favorit variety is characterized by high yield and good keeping quality over long storage, especially when sown late. This allows the carrot to be used not only immediately after harvest but also over an extended period, which is convenient for farms and home storage. Due to its qualities, the variety is suitable for cultivation in open ground.

Favorit carrot seeds are produced by Moravoseed (Czech Republic). The seed weight is up to 200 g, with 1 gram per package, which equals 700 to 1250 seeds, and 1000 seeds weigh 0.8 to 1.8 grams. This variety is an excellent choice for those who value quality, high yield, and long-term vegetable storage.
