Stable yields for the bunching segment

The «Fedorovna» carrot, developed by the «Evro-Semena» brand, represents a specialized selection for farmers focused on high-quality fresh produce. Belonging to the Flakko type, this variety is designed for growers who prioritize uniformity and marketable appearance in their bunching crops.

Key Specifications

• Maturity: 100–110 days. This mid-season variety is timed perfectly to hit the market when demand for fresh carrots is consistent.
• Root Geometry: The cylindrical shape of the root is highly valued in both retail and the HoReCa sector, ensuring minimal waste during processing and excellent presentation in bunches.
• Breeding Background: Developed by Yury Tarasov and Viktor Muzhilko, the variety focuses on regional adaptability, providing reliable performance in a variety of growing conditions.

Pros and Cons

The primary strength of «Fedorovna» is its consistency. Unlike more temperamental hybrids, this variety is highly predictable, allowing for precise harvest planning. The uniform, cylindrical shape makes it exceptionally easy to bundle and transport, reducing labor costs during post-harvest handling. However, as with most Flakko-type carrots, success depends on maintaining consistent soil moisture levels. In drought-prone areas or under irregular irrigation, the root development may be compromised; therefore, it is best suited for operations with established irrigation systems.

For whom is this variety ideal? «Fedorovna» is a smart choice for small and medium-scale farms that need a reliable, high-output crop for local markets. It offers an excellent balance between structural integrity and ease of cultivation, making it a staple for growers looking for dependable results without the need for overly complex agronomic input.
