Description Patzi
Patzi carrot is a mid-season hybrid of the Berlikum type, developed by French breeders of the Clause company. The vegetation period is approximately 110-120 days, allowing cultivation in open ground during the spring-summer period. The plant exhibits strong growth vigor, a robust leafy canopy, and high resistance to adverse weather conditions, as well as resistance to bolting and leaf diseases. Due to its sturdy foliage, the carrot is suitable for mechanical harvesting.

The roots of Patzi carrots are cylindrical, smooth, and uniform, without green shoulders, with a consistent deep-orange color both externally and internally. The average length of the roots is 20-26 cm, and the diameter is 3-5 cm. The carrot has high content of dry matter, carotene, and sugars, giving it a sweet flavor and juiciness. These qualities make it versatile for culinary use, processing, and canning.

The yield of Patzi carrots can be stored for 5-6 months in cool, dark conditions, maintaining its market appearance, flavor, and color even after thermal processing. Its high yield potential and attractive appearance make this hybrid popular for both commercial cultivation and home use.
