FANSI

Fansi carrot is a mid-season hybrid of the Nantaise type, characterized by high resistance to waterlogging and cold. The plant forms a sprawling leaf rosette with powerful dark green foliage, allowing it to withstand heavy soils well. Maturation time is about 120-125 days after full germination, making this variety optimal for growing in various climatic conditions.

Fansi carrots have an elongated-conical or cylindrical shape with a blunt or slightly tapered base. Their length varies from 18 to 24 cm, diameter is about 3-4.5 cm, and mass ranges from 50-195 g. The root crops are bright orange both outside and inside, giving them an attractive appearance. The surface of the root crops is very smooth, which facilitates their processing and enhances commercial appeal.

This variety is recommended for fresh consumption, as well as freezing, canning, and long-term storage due to good storability. For successful cultivation, sowing should be done in very moist soil, avoiding overcrowding, which promotes the formation of quality root crops.
