Carrot NASTENA

Nastena carrot is a mid-early variety with a growing period from 80 to 120 days, depending on growing conditions. The roots are cylindrical with a slightly blunt tip, measuring 15 to 18 cm in length and weighing 80 to 180 g. They are distinguished by their bright orange color and juicy, tender flesh with a high concentration of carotene and sugars, giving them an exquisite sweet taste. The variety is resistant to bolting and cracking, which helps maintain the quality of the harvest and its long-term storage.

Nastena is suitable for a wide range of applications: fresh consumption, juice production, baby and diet food, as well as canning and freezing. Due to its good yield and resistance to some diseases, this variety is popular among gardeners. Sowing seeds is recommended in late April – early May, at a depth of 1-4 cm with a row spacing of 15-20 cm. After germination, thinning is carried out, leaving 5-7 cm between plants for optimal root development.
