Description Chester
Chester herbicide is a selective systemic product designed to combat annual and perennial grass and broadleaf weeds in corn crops. Its active ingredient is niclosulfuron (750 g/kg), ensuring high efficiency at low dosages.

Chester is applied during the crop growth stage from 4 to 10 leaves. The recommended application rate is 50–60 g/ha plus 200 ml/ha of the surfactant PAV York, which improves the distribution and absorption of the herbicide. The product rapidly penetrates plants through leaves, stems, and roots, is transported to growth points, and suppresses enzymatic processes, disrupting amino acid synthesis. As a result, cell division and weed growth cease.

The advantages of Chester include a fast rate of action – the effect appears just a few hours after application, while the protection period lasts up to 8 weeks, covering a wide range of pests: foxtail, knapweed, wild mustard, datura, annual bluegrass, and others. Due to rapid soil degradation, the product leaves no traces on subsequent crops, making it safe for repeated use. Chester is recommended for use only under warm and dry weather conditions (temperature +15…+25 °C) to ensure maximum effectiveness.
