Evora - cool-season perennial grass, known for its high durability and cold tolerance. With its dense turf development and lush leaf cover, it creates high-quality lawns suitable for sports fields, recreational areas, and various lawn types. Evora can be used either as a pure stand (100% Evora lawn) or in mixes with other grasses; it pairs well with Fescue in terms of color and texture, and also exhibits heat tolerance.
Evora seeds are characterized by high yield and good vegetative growth rates. The plant adapts to various soils - from sandy to clay loams - and shows tolerance to minor salinity, making it suitable for cultivation in areas with moderate soil salinity.
For planting Evora, a sowing rate of 3–4 kg per centner (30–40 g/m²) is recommended for light soils and 4–5 kg per centner (40–50 g/m²) for heavy clay loams. With proper care, the plant withstands winters, low temperatures, and frosts, ensuring a stable green cover throughout the season.
