Yellow Waterfall beans represent an early-maturing, high-yielding asparagus bean variety that reaches technical maturity 45-50 days after germination. The plant is tall and climbing, reaching heights up to 250 cm, which requires the use of support for proper development. Leaves are green, wrinkled, and of medium size, while flowers are small and white. Seeds are medium-sized, white, and kidney-shaped.
Beans of this variety are light yellow, slightly curved, 24 to 30 cm long, with a smooth surface and no fiber or parchment layer, making them especially juicy and tender. In cross-section, beans have an elliptical or oval shape, and a short, slightly curved beak gives them a distinctive appearance. The height of attachment for lower beans is about 25 cm.
Yellow Waterfall is widely used in cooking due to its excellent taste qualities. It is suitable for making vegetable sides, canning, freezing, and pickling. For growing beans, direct sowing into the ground is recommended in May-June at a depth of 2-3 cm with row spacing of 15x20 cm. This variety has already gained popularity among gardeners due to its yield and versatility in application.
