Bean SANDENS

Vegetable bean variety Sandens is an early, high-yielding asparagus bean variety, distinguished by good taste qualities and resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and bacterial spot. The climbing plant reaches a height of about 3 meters and requires support for proper growth. Leaves are of medium size, green, and wrinkled, while flowers are small and white. Pods are light yellow, about 20 cm long and 1.2 cm wide, with a round cross-section, no parchment layer, and no fibers, making them particularly pleasant to eat.

The weight of 100 pods is approximately 1.265 kg, and the weight of 1000 seeds is about 825 g. The yield of the Sandens variety reaches up to 4 kg per square meter, which significantly exceeds the average indicators for vegetable beans. Lower pods are located at a height of about 40 cm from the ground, which facilitates harvesting. Seeds are narrowly elliptical, white in color with moderate venation.

The Sandens variety is recommended for growing in conditions that provide support for climbing plants. Thanks to its resistance to major diseases and high productivity, it is suitable both for personal garden plots and for commercial cultivation. The high quality of the fruits and their taste characteristics make Sandens bean in demand for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
