Lora

Lora beans — a mid-season variety of asparagus beans, maturing in approximately 70 days. The plant is of a bush type, compact and sturdy, reaching a height from 35 to 60 cm depending on growing conditions. Lora is distinguished by high and stable yield when cultivated in open ground, successfully adapts to various climatic conditions and stably withstands sharp temperature fluctuations.

Lora bean pods have a pale green or golden-yellow color, 11 to 17 cm in length, fleshy and fiberless, making them especially attractive for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing. Seeds are oval, white or dark yellow. The taste qualities of the product are highly rated; the beans have a pleasant taste and valuable nutritional properties, including protein, vitamins A, B, C, sugars, and mineral salts.

For successful growing of Lora beans, it is recommended to plant them on loose and light soils with regular watering and application of fertilizers. The plant demonstrates resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and bacteriosis, which contributes to maintaining the health of the crop and a stable harvest. The optimal sowing scheme is 10x50 cm, which ensures good bush development and ease of care.
