The ANFISA bean variety is an early-maturing, high-yield grain bean type with a period from germination to technical maturity of 45-50 days. The plant is bushy and low-growing, reaching a height of up to 45 cm. The leaves are light green, medium-sized, and wrinkled; the flowers are white and also of medium size. Pods at technical maturity have a light-yellow color with red-purple spots, a length of 14-16 cm and a width of 1.2-1.5 cm; they are straight and rounded in cross-section. The hilum is medium-sized and curved, and the height of attachment of the lower pods is about 10 cm. The mass of 100 pods reaches approximately 920 g.
ANFISA bean seeds are large, round or elliptical, white in color with brown streaks. The variety is resistant to major diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation. Sowing is recommended to be done directly into open ground in May-June at a depth of 2-3 cm with row spacing of 15x20 cm. Due to its structure and characteristics, the bean is suitable for various methods of use.
Although the variety is a grain type, with very early harvesting the bean can be used as an asparagus bean. This opens up wide possibilities for application in culinary arts: the bean is suitable for preparing side dishes, soups, stews, as well as for freezing and canning. Such a universal product will be an excellent addition to the diet, combining high yield and ease of use.
