POMEGRANATE BRACELET

Pomegranate Bracelet is a mid-early basil variety with a compact, decorative bush 30-50 cm high, featuring rich dark burgundy, almost purple glossy leaves. The leaves are large, egg-shaped, 6-8 cm long, fleshy and bright, possessing an exquisite aroma with notes of clove and cinnamon. The plant forms lush bushes weighing 200-300 grams and regrows quickly after cutting, ensuring high yield and a constant supply of fresh greens.

This basil variety is versatile in application: its leaves are widely used as a spicy garnish for salads, meat dishes, marinades, and aromatic sauces. Additionally, they are suitable for preparing original compotes and morse drinks, and are well preserved when dried for winter. Due to the content of anthocyanins, which have high antioxidant activity, Pomegranate Bracelet basil has a therapeutic and preventive effect, supporting the immune system and improving gastrointestinal tract function.

The plant is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and at home on a sunny windowsill. For successful growth, basil requires regular watering in moist, but not waterlogged soil, preferably light and fertile with neutral acidity. Feeding with complex fertilizers is carried out approximately once every two weeks. Flowering occurs from July to September, when light purple flowers appear in spike-like inflorescences, adding decorativeness to this aromatic and useful plant.
