Gypsy Baron

The plant has an average weight of 90 to 120 grams, and the bushes maintain their shape throughout the season thanks to late flowering, allowing for a long time of harvesting fresh leaves. This variety boasts high yields, reaching about 2.5 kg per square meter, making it attractive for growing both in open ground and at home, including pots on balconies or windowsills, greenhouses, and flower beds.

The leaves and stems of Gypsy Baron possess a strong, pleasant pepper-like aroma with an original aftertaste, making this basil in demand in cuisine. It is widely used fresh as salad greens and a spicy garnish, and is also suitable for canning.
