Description SIBERIAN DWARF
Siberian Dwarf is an early-midseason shrub variety of basil with large leaves and a distinctive sweet-spicy aroma reminiscent of anise and cloves. The plant is vigorous, semi-spreading, 45-55 cm tall, with well-foliaged stems 10-12 cm long. The variety has an intermediate maturation period: 45-50 days from seedling emergence to the first harvest. Pinching at 5-6 true leaves is recommended to stimulate branching. The highest yields are achieved when grown on well-lit, rich, and well-drained soils. Basil pairs well with tomatoes and is suitable for making pesto sauce and Neapolitan cuisine dishes. The yield is 2-2.3 kg per square meter, with a single plant reaching 300-400 g.

The variety is unpretentious in cultivation and resistant to unfavorable conditions, including low light in seedlings, where the plant does not stretch. It does not require tying or suckering, which simplifies care. A compact bush 25-35 cm high forms abundant racemes with large fruits, which have excellent transportability and good storage qualities. The fruits are oval, glossy, dense, up to 200 g, with little-seeded and fleshy pulp, from which high-quality juice is produced. Due to these characteristics, the variety is suitable for pickling and canning.

Siberian Dwarf is adapted to Siberian conditions and ensures high yields with dense planting, reaching up to 4 kg of marketable fruits per plant. The variety is resistant to diseases, including late blight, making it a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers. Thanks to its qualities and versatility of application, this basil will be an excellent addition to your vegetable garden and culinary recipes.
