Basil SIBERIAN DWARF

Compact Basil with an Intense Profile

The "Siberian Dwarf" (Sibirskiy Karlik) from "Heterosis Breeding" is the choice for those who seek a balance between intense aroma and compact growth. With a plant height of 40–50 cm, this variety fits perfectly into limited spaces: from balcony boxes and windowsills to dense plantings in open ground. A yield of 2–3 kg/m² provides a steady supply of fresh greens throughout the season, and its early maturity (40–50 days) allows for multiple sowing cycles during the summer.

Agrotechnics and Protection

The main advantage of this variety is its genetic resistance to late blight (phytophthora), which significantly reduces the need for chemical treatments. The plant is responsive to light but performs well in partial shade, making it a flexible tool for planning your garden plots.

Culinary Use

The large leaves of the "Siberian Dwarf" possess a complex flavor profile, dominated by anise and clove notes with a sweet undertone. This makes the variety indispensable for:

• Preparing home marinades and preserves — the spicy profile unfolds perfectly in brines.
• Creating signature seasonings and sauces (such as pesto with an unusual "warm" hint).
• Fresh use — the large leaves are convenient for slicing and garnishing.

If your goal is to maximize spice production per square centimeter with minimal disease risk, this basil is a reliable solution.
