Rondo

Rondo is a mid-early leaf parsley variety that matures 55-60 days from seedling emergence to harvest. This variety is distinguished by a large, semi-erect rosette of leaves with dark green, glossy coloration and large leaflets. The leaves possess high aromaticity, making the herbs particularly valuable for culinary use.

Rondo is characterized by plant height of 30 to 38 cm and a rosette diameter of 25-30 cm. The leaves are long, wide-triangular in shape with moderate leaf margin undulation and dense foliage. Petioles are of medium thickness, usually without anthocyanin or with its weak manifestation. The mass of greens per plant is 46-52 grams, and yield reaches 1.8-1.9 kg per square meter. The output of marketable product is very high—about 99%, indicating the quality and suitability of the greens for sale.

The Rondo variety is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and protected ground. It regrows well after cutting, allowing for several harvests per season. The optimal planting scheme is 5x15 cm, ensuring comfortable plant development and ease of care. Due to its characteristics and high aromaticity, Rondo is an excellent choice for household plots and commercial cultivation.
