Barley Malz

Czech Breeding Excellence: Malz Barley

In modern agriculture, the choice of seed variety is a strategic decision. Malz barley, developed by Oseva Eximpo Praha S.R.O., is designed for farmers who prioritize predictable yields and high-quality grain. Czech breeding programs are globally recognized for their robust agronomic performance, and Malz stands out as a reliable choice for those seeking to balance yield potential with operational efficiency.

The Power of Seed Mass

The hallmark of Malz barley is its substantial seed size, with a thousand-kernel weight (TKW) consistently ranging between 46 and 48 grams. For an agronomist, this is a significant advantage: larger kernels provide superior germination energy, ensuring the crop establishes itself quickly and vigorously, even under challenging early-spring soil conditions. This trait reduces the risk of thin stands and improves overall stress tolerance.

Why Choose Malz by Oseva Eximpo Praha?

• Production Stability: The variety offers high uniformity of grain, which is critical for efficient processing, storage, and meeting market standards.
• Agronomic Efficiency: Thanks to its robust genetic profile, Malz performs consistently across various soil types, allowing for optimized seeding rates and reduced input costs without sacrificing harvest quality.
• Proven Genetics: Developed by one of the leading Czech seed houses, this variety is engineered to thrive in European climate zones, showing high adaptability and resistance to common environmental pressures.

Who is Malz for?

Malz is the optimal solution for farming operations that value consistency over high-risk experimental varieties. It is designed for those who appreciate a reliable, low-maintenance crop that does not require highly complex "specialty" agronomy to reach its full potential. By choosing Malz, you are investing in a proven variety that rewards good farm management with stable, high-quality grain production.

Ultimately, Oseva Eximpo Praha S.R.O. provides a "middle-ground" powerhouse: a variety that delivers the essential performance metrics (46-48g TKW) while remaining manageable and reliable in the field. If you are looking for a variety that brings the precision of European breeding to your production cycle, Malz is a top-tier contender.
