The fungicide Airis is a systemic, single-component preparation based on tebuconazole at a concentration of 250 g/L, presented in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate. It is intended for the protection of cereal grasses, particularly barley, as well as winter rapeseed, from a broad spectrum of fungal diseases. Thanks to its formulation, the preparation is rapidly absorbed by plants and exhibits acropetal movement, ensuring protection not only of treated parts but also of young, actively growing organs.
Airis effectively controls diseases such as barley fusarium, septoria, various types of rust (brown and yellow), alternaria, powdery mildew, and cylindrosporiosis. The preparation has prophylactic, curative, and growth-regulating effects, which is especially important for enhancing the winter hardiness of winter rapeseed. The mechanism of action involves disruption of ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes, leading to effective eradication of disease-causing pathogens.
The recommended application rate of the fungicide Airis ranges from 0.5 to 1.0 liters per hectare, depending on the crop and growth stage of the plants. The preparation is available in a convenient 5-liter packaging and is manufactured by Nufarm (Australia). Use of Airis contributes to increased yield and quality of cereal crops and winter rapeseed due to reliable protection against fungal diseases.
