Description Galaxy
Galaxy Eggplant is a mid-early hybrid with high adaptability to various growing conditions. The plant is indeterminate type, powerful and compact, is characterized by high yield and ability to set fruit well even under unfavorable conditions. The stem has an anthocyanin coloration, and for successful growth it is recommended to grow in open ground or under temporary film coverings with mandatory tying to a vertical support. Seedlings are better grown without transplanting, which contributes to earlier harvest.

Galaxy eggplant fruits have pear or cylindrical shape, 20-26 cm long and 180-350 g in weight. Their skin is smooth, glossy, deep dark purple color, and flesh is white or slightly greenish, dense and without bitterness. Absence of bitterness and convenient shape make this variety ideal for various culinary applications. Fruit calyx usually without spines or with rare spines, which facilitates processing.

The variety is characterized by high transportability and long storage period, while fruits retain their taste qualities. Seeds germinate at a temperature of +13 to +14 °C in about 15 days, and the process accelerates at higher temperatures. Thanks to its characteristics, Galaxy eggplant is an excellent choice for obtaining high-quality harvest with superior taste properties.
