GREEN

The Green eggplant variety is an early-maturing hybrid with a unique light green fruit color. The fruits have a cylindrical or elliptical shape and can reach a length of up to 23 centimeters and a weight of about 170 grams, although larger specimens weighing up to 500 grams are also found. The flesh is snow-white, tender, non-bitter, and does not darken when cut, making it particularly attractive for various types of culinary processing. The fruits have a good eggplant flavor with a slight mushroom note, which expands the possibilities for their use in preparing dishes.

The bushes are powerful, reaching a height of up to 80 centimeters, medium-sized, but due to the weight of the fruits require support. The variety is characterized by high yield - about five large fruits can be collected from one bush. The eggplant is resistant to a complex of diseases and hardy to cold conditions, which allows it to be grown in various climatic conditions and ensures a stable harvest.

Growing the Green eggplant requires careful care, similar to growing tomatoes. Due to the sensitivity of the root system, it is recommended to grow seedlings in peat pots without transplanting. Seeds germinate within 10-15 days, and seedlings reach readiness for planting in 40-45 days. An important point is maintaining optimal temperature at different stages of growth to form a strong root system and healthy seedlings. During the season, 3 to 5 feedings are necessary, the first of which is carried out two weeks after planting the seedlings in the ground.
