SIBEL

The Sibel apple variety is intended for cultivation in southern regions of Russia and belongs to winter varieties in terms of fruit consumption timing. This variety is characterized by a good taste, which is evaluated by tasters in the range of 4 to 4.3 points, indicating the high quality of the apples. The fruits ripen in the winter period, which allows them to be used fresh for a long time.


The fruits of the Sibel apple tree have medium uniformity and a correct conical shape with smooth and shiny skin, covered with a light bloom. The main skin color is whitish, while the covering color is absent, which gives the apples a neat and attractive appearance. The flesh is white, of medium density, tender and juicy, with a bland taste, which makes these apples pleasant to eat fresh.


Information about the frost hardiness of the Sibel variety is not exact, however, it is assumed that the apple tree can withstand temperatures down to minus 25 degrees Celsius. This makes the variety potentially resistant to moderate winter cold, which is important for successful cultivation in southern climatic conditions.
