Apple SIBEL

A Winter Variety with Character: Why Choose «Sibel»

The «Sibel» apple tree from the Crimean Fruit Company is a breeding product focused on regions with significant climatic fluctuations. This winter variety stands out among common mass-market apples due to its specific fruit morphology and consistent yield.

Fruit Features and Taste Profile

Visually, «Sibel» is easily recognizable: its elongated, round-conical shape distinguishes it from classic spherical apples. An important feature is the absence of a pronounced blush, giving the fruit a sleek, almost graphic appearance. The flesh is white and firm, boasting a balanced tasting score of 4.0 points. It is not a «dessert» sugary variety, but rather a reliable, high-quality product with a harmonious taste, perfectly suitable for both fresh consumption during the winter months and processing.

Strengths and Weaknesses

• Winter Hardiness: The variety has successfully adapted to the Crimean region, demonstrating resistance to low temperatures, which is a critical factor for commercial orchards.
• Technological Suitability: The elongated shape simplifies the calibration process on automated sorting lines.
• Taste Quality: A score of 4.0 is a solid average for winter varieties, ensuring steady market demand.

«Sibel» is optimal for horticultural enterprises that require a reliable, easy-to-store culture capable of surviving harsh winters without critical losses. It is a choice for the practical farmer focused on long-term storage and consistent harvest.
