SCARLET SPUR

The Scarlet Spur apple is a winter variety of American selection with high yield and early fruiting. This spur clone features a conical crown and frost resistance down to -25°C, enabling successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. The plant is grafted and varies in height depending on the sapling's age: from 80 to 180 cm. Successful fruiting requires the presence of pollinators such as Golden Delicious, Elstar, or Gloucester. It is recommended to plant the apple tree on neutral soils in sunny or semi-shaded areas, maintaining an interval between plants of 3-4 meters.

The fruits of the Scarlet Spur variety are large, weighing 200 grams or more, with a truncated-conical, elongated shape. Their surface is covered with a shiny, rich bright red color, evenly distributed over 90% of the fruit, making the apples attractive and noticeable. The flesh is white with a slight yellow tint, dense, soft, sweet with a hint of acidity, ensuring a pleasant taste and high quality of the fruits. Harvest occurs in mid-September to early October, with ripening occurring about five days earlier than the Golden Delicious variety.
