The Cedrina Memory apple is a late-autumn universal variety bred in 1985 by crossing the Kutuzovets and Orlik varieties. Trees of this variety are of medium size, fast-growing, with a wide pyramidal crown and dark green leaves with a bluish tint. The variety is adapted for cultivation in the Middle Volga region, possesses satisfactory frost resistance down to -33°C, high drought tolerance, and medium heat tolerance, making it suitable for the conditions of the central part of Russia.
The fruits of the Cedrina Memory apple are of medium size, weighing about 140 grams, of a regular spherical shape with a shiny skin and a waxy bloom. The main color of the fruits at the time of harvestable maturity is greenish-yellow, which becomes whitish at consumer maturity, with a blurred dark-red covering blush on most of the surface. The flesh is whitish-green, juicy, sour-sweet with a spicy note and medium aroma. Sugar content reaches 13.1%, and vitamin C - 11.1 mg per 100 grams.
The variety is characterized by good yield, reaching 25 tons per hectare, and high fruit transportability. Fruiting is moderately periodic, and resistance to scab is medium or high, which ensures crop preservation. Due to its characteristics, the Cedrina Memory apple is a promising variety for cultivation in regions with a moderate climate, providing a stable and quality yield.
