Nastya

The 'Nastya' apple tree is a tall tree with an inverted-pyramidal crown, reaching a height of 5-6 meters without pruning. The leaves are dark green with a suede-like pattern, giving the tree a decorative appearance. Flowering occurs in mid-May to June, and fruiting begins on the 5th-6th year after planting. The variety is self-sterile, so pollinators are required for fruit set.

The fruits of the 'Nastya' apple are large, typically around 100 grams, but can reach up to 180 grams. The apples have a round shape with a smooth skin covered by a waxy coating. The main color of the fruits is yellow-green with a red-brick blush, which may be solid or mottled. The flesh is greenish, juicy, and has a sweet-tart table flavor. The fruits ripen in mid-September, but at this time they remain firm and tart, reaching full ripeness several months later. Due to this, the apples store well until mid-winter. The fruits contain 19-25 mg of ascorbic acid per 100 grams.

The 'Nastya' variety is valued for its high yield and excellent winter hardiness, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. However, the tree requires proper care, including planting, fertilization, and pruning, to ensure healthy growth and stable fruiting. Although resistant to several diseases, the variety has weak immunity to scab and is prone to alternate bearing, which should be considered when planning agronomic measures.
