NATALIUSHKA

The Nataliushka apple variety is an early-winter Russian variety with high winter hardiness and resistance to various diseases. The tree has a columnar or medium-sized pyramidal shape with a dense crown and compactly arranged shoots. The leaves are elongated, green, while the shoots are brownish-green and pubescent. This variety is characterized by rapid growth and begins fruiting as early as the fourth year after planting.

Nataliushka apple fruits are large, weighing about 160 grams, round-conical or round in shape with a smooth and regular surface. The apple coloration varies from greenish-yellow to light yellow during storage, with a delicate pink blush on part of the fruit. The flesh is white, dense, fine-grained, and juicy, possessing a sour-sweet taste with a pleasant medium aroma, confirmed by a tasting score of 4.4 points. Fruits ripen in September and are immediately ready for consumption.

The Nataliushka variety differs with high yield and medium drought resistance. Apples store well, changing color during storage, however, it is not recommended to transport them over long distances, as damage during transport significantly deteriorates the commercial appearance of the fruits. Thanks to its taste qualities and resistance to unfavorable conditions, this variety is an excellent choice for cultivation in a moderate climate.
