VEZNE

Vezne grape is a table variety of medium or mid-late ripening, characterized by high yield and good adaptation to various climatic conditions. This variety was bred by crossing the 'Kirovabad table' and 'Agadai' varieties and belongs to the Eastern eco-geographical group of grapes. The bushes are vigorous with good shoot ripening, large leaves that are round and deeply lobed, which promotes good plant development. Berry ripening takes about 134 days with a sum of active temperatures of approximately 2837°C.

Vezne clusters are large, cylindrical in shape, of medium density or loose. The berries are large, elongated, asymmetrical, greenish-yellow with a pale pink blush on the sunny side and a thick waxy bloom. The skin is tough, ensuring good fruit preservation, while the flesh is meaty and juicy with a harmonious taste. Thanks to these qualities, the grape is ideal for fresh consumption and can also be used for making juice and other products.

The variety has average winter hardiness and resistance to major diseases such as mildew and oidium, which facilitates its cultivation without the need for frequent treatments. Vezne grows well on loamy sandy and clay soils, demonstrating a stable yield of about 180 c/ha. These characteristics make the Vezne grape an attractive choice for gardeners and viticulturists seeking high-quality table grapes with good taste and agronomic indicators.
