The COOP-10 apple variety is an autumn variety, introduced from the USA in 1972 as a result of cross-breeding the Starking Delicious and Williams varieties. It is a medium-sized tree with a rounded canopy and begins fruiting 3-4 years after planting. It bears fruit on spurs and ring-bursts, which ensures a stable yield. It is recommended to plant in sunny areas protected from cold winds, on loamy, fertile, and well-drained soils.

The fruits are large, weighing from 250 to 300 grams, of a regular conical shape, and uniform. The skin is smooth and thick; upon picking, it has a yellow-green or pale yellow color with possible red or bright red blush, as well as numerous gray speckles. The flesh is medium-density, greenish, juicy, with an excellent sweet-and-sour taste and a medium aroma reminiscent of Starking Delicious. Apples ripen at the end of September – beginning of October, approximately four weeks after the Prima and Red Delicious varieties.

The variety has high resistance to scab due to the presence of the Vf resistance gene, a medium level of resistance to powdery mildew and bacterial burn, as well as high resistance to cedar-apple rust. Among pests, the red fruit mite is noted. The fruits store well in the refrigerator until April – May without dehydration, which allows preserving their freshness for a long time.
